Safari Medvino concept: visiting the wild
Wild animals are not attractions, but rightful masters of the forest, so we do not display them, but give you the opportunity to be close to them at a safe distance for everyone.
They appear on your route only when they want to. Some may hide in the shadows, while others may brazenly stick their backs out to be scratched. It all depends on their mood, just like with people.
The guide will tell interesting stories about all the inhabitants, monitor safety, and even offer to feed the animals.
Our animals are unshaven and unkempt, sometimes even smelly (to us, they always smell!). They do not know commands and do not obey people.
They are wild animals that live their lives and reproduce, and we only create favorable conditions for this.

Who can you meet on the route?
Please note: some animals may hide or roam the territory depending on the weather and their mood, so we are not always able to see them all.

Marmot

We didn't bring our marmots here — they heard rumors about delicious food and moved here on their own. Usually, they are very shy, but ours are calm and lazy, so they let you get 5-10 meters close to them.
Lama

Llamas are particularly confident and bold. They can be fed, so expect them to stretch their long necks right into your car and demand treats (don't forget to buy them at the reception desk).
But be careful — they may spit if they don't like something.
Horses and ponies

You will see rare wild Przewalski's horses and other breeds, as well as mini horses and ponies (yes, they are different animals)! If a weaker stallion is separated from the herd, we take special care of him and hope that he will find a mate.
Wolves

We raised our wolves from infancy; they are our children—they even slept in the same bed with us. Now they have grown up and matured, so they have a special enclosure.
But they still love to play and let themselves be petted if they are in the mood :)
Deers

We dream of raising a large population of deer, so we started our own farm. These are very temperamental creatures: they fight at night and mate during the day :)
Deer that have been separated from the herd have settled in a separate enclosure — they are very sociable and are not afraid of people.

Common Questions
What is included in the tour price?
The price of a group tour includes: visit to the safari park, guided group tour, rental of the selected vehicle, tasting of in-house cheeses, liqueurs, and sausages after the tour.
Is it only possible to move around the enclosure by car?
Yes. Walking tours inside the safari park are not available.
In the enclosure where wild animals live, movement is allowed only by car or quad bikes. The guide conducting your tour will indicate where you may safely exit the vehicle to get a closer look at the animals.
Do I need to pay separately for an entrance ticket?
The entrance ticket is already included in the cost of the vehicle rental (for all passengers). No additional payments are required.
When is the best time to see all the animals?
Animals at Medvino live in an environment that is as close to natural as possible.
There are no cages or strict schedules — they move freely around the enclosures and choose their own rest time.
However, our guides always adjust the route so that you can see as many park residents as possible — regardless of the time of your visit.
Is the price indicated for all people in the vehicle or per guest?
The price is indicated per vehicle, regardless of the number of guests in it.
The maximum number of guests for each vehicle is listed in the tour price list.
What if it rains or snows?
Tours are conducted in any weather.
Most animals do not hide and remain active. You can purchase a raincoat before the tour, and if you're very worried about getting wet, we can reschedule your visit to another date (with at least 48 hours’ notice).
What should I take with me on the tour?
We recommend comfortable clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty — or bring a change of clothes.
Is advance booking required?
Yes. Advance booking is mandatory.
Are there any discounts?
A 10% discount is available on tours and accommodation for birthday guests and military personnel with a valid combatant ID.
